The Newly Renovated Ocean Hideaway is the perfect vacation destination for groups up to 9 guests. We are a quick 3-minute walk to the beach, tons of outdoor space to hang out, relax, and grill out, fire-pit to make smores on. The kids will love the custom-built bunk room. We are a few short blocks to the beach, Pleasure pier & Schlitterbahn.

The space

Historical home nearly 100 years old! Located on historical Galveston Island. After a long day at the beach come back home to relax outside and grill on the grill/fire pit and play games in the massive backyard and relax on the Hammock. 2 blocks and a 3-minute walk to the seawall and beach and walking distance to Pleasure Pier. Schlitterbahn is 3.8 miles away and moody gardens is 4.1 miles away.
The front home offers a self entry keypad for check-in. Enjoy your morning coffee on the patio. From there, you'll walk into a spacious entry and living open to the full kitchen. The kitchen offers full-sized appliances, dishes, cookware, and coffee maker, and a nice open feel. Walk out the back deck to the covered porch concrete patio with plenty of Adirondack chairs, Tiki torches, a fire pit/grill, and a hammock. Walkthrough the entryway to the living room with a smart TV, leather sleeper Sofa open to the kitchen with a huge island with gorgeous white quartz countertops, that seats 4/6 guests, next to the dining table that seats 5, there is also an extra seating area with a bench window seat. Brand new bathroom with floor to ceiling tile on almost all of the walls. This bathroom has a bathtub and shower and is connected to the built-in 3 bunk bedroom with original 100-year-old oak floors, and a small seating area. Walk up the historical 100-year old staircase you will find 2 more bedrooms one with a king bed, a gorgeous seating area with a smart TV. The 2nd room has a queen bed, closet, and seating area. There is a newly renovated bathroom with a standing shower, floor to ceiling tile and quartz countertops. The three bedrooms and living room have a mini-split ac and heather, amazing plush mattresses for you to rest after an eventful day at the beach. The bathroom has a shower and bathtub you can relax in and dry off with plush towels. Amenities include Hi-Speed Wi-Fi, 2 Smart Roku TV's one in the living room, one in the king bedroom. Both have including Netflix, Youtube TV (live tv-including sports, news, and weather) and Amazon Prime's large movie selection. Check out is at 10 am. Please let us know prior to your stay if you will need a later checkout. We allow a 30 minute grace period for check out. Late fees will apply if the home is left later than 10:30 am. That fee is $25.00 per hour. I am a phone call or text away if you need me.
You will be in the Heart of Galveston, you will love the neighbors! You will see families walking their dogs with their children, people riding their bikes to local hot spots and you will fall in love with all Galveston has to offer! After booking, we will send you a copy of our short-term rental agreement for you to acknowledge, including and arrival and departure instructions, we also ask for you to provide a copy of your ID for verification. Parking is available in front of the house, and in the back of the house. We require the booking guest to be at least 25 years of age. Great for family with kids.
